For more than 10 years, the agency has continued to provide full and continuous administrative and logistical support to CDC's Central Asia Applied Epidemiology Program in Central Asia. In 2023, under an annual contract, the agency organized and conducted more than 25 specialized trainings for more than 500 health workers, 6 routine investigations and 3 investigations of infectious disease outbreaks in four Central Asian countries, and ensured participation of representatives from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan in international conferences in Stockholm, Atlanta, Boston, and Mombasa (Kenya).
The agency's work included: organization and delivery of turnkey training seminars and trainings in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, administrative and logistical support for medical specialists (public health, epidemiologist) within the framework of practical training and professional development program, organization and administration of rapid response teams for outbreaks of highly dangerous diseases in the Central Asian region, procurement and support of necessary technical equipment, consumables and supplies, as well as support for the implementation of the program.
