International Conference on Emerging Infectious Disease 2015

The International Conference on Emerging Infectious Diseases was organized in 2015 in the United States with the support of the American Society for Microbiology and the Centers for Disease Control. Two specialists from the Department of Epidemiological Surveillance for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases of Zhambyl and West Kazakhstan regions of Kazakhstan participated in the conference. Their trip to the conference was organized by EZS agency, who prepared necessary documents for obtaining visas and organized their air flight, accommodation in Atlanta and meeting / seeing off at the airport, as well as design and production of information posters. In addition, the agency provided logistical support for conducting on-site laboratory research in the village of Uzun-Agash in the Almaty region. During the field research two programs were implemented: “Bats catching, methods of proper handling and sampling” and “Biology and the role of camels in the spread of infectious diseases” in Uzun-Agash.
