Under a long-term contract with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the EZS Agency conducted a training seminar on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The seminar consisted of two five-day trainings, in each 25 medical workers were trained. Each training included both theoretical and practical part, with site visits to different points of the city to draw up maps based on the received data. The theoretical part was organized at the Holiday Inn.
EZS provided a full package of training services: arranging arrival of out-of-town specialists, hotel accommodations, selection and preparation of conference rooms, provision of necessary equipment and stationery, organization of coffee breaks, translation and interpretation services, provision of tablets for the practical part of the course and production of handouts, coordination of field activities, transport and technical support.
